Position: Portuguese Language Instructor

Job Description:
1. Teach courses in intensive reading, speaking, and writing for Portuguese majors, as well as public Portuguese courses offered university-wide, with a teaching load of 8–12 class hours per week.
2. Publish 1–2 papers or articles (including academic journal papers or conference presentations) in relevant fields within the employment period.
3. Participate in Portuguese curriculum development and teaching reform, assist in textbook compilation, guide students in professional competitions, and contribute to cultural exchange and promotion activities both on and beyond campus.
4. Undertake other tasks assigned by the school related to discipline development and talent cultivation.
Qualifications:
1. Have a good understanding of and a positive stance toward China. Possess strong professional ethics, be honest and trustworthy, and dedicated to the profession.
2. Native Portuguese speaker.
3. Hold a Master's degree or higher in Portuguese Linguistics, Portuguese Literature, Education, or related fields; OR have at least two years of full-time work experience in teaching Portuguese.
4. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in test preparation, grading, or assessment for examinations such as CAPLE and Celpe-Bras.
5. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching Portuguese at Chinese universities.
