Position: Hebrew Language Instructor

Job Description:
1. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Hebrew program, as well as university-wide public Hebrew courses, with a weekly teaching workload of 8–12 class hours.
2. Complete at least one academic journal paper or conference presentation during the employment period, with Peking University as the first affiliation.
3. Actively participate in other teaching and research activities within the program, such as textbook compilation, collaborative research, and student guidance.
4. Support the development of the school and undertake other tasks assigned by supervisors related to the development of the Hebrew program and the school.
Qualifications:
1. Have a good understanding of and a positive stance toward China. Possess strong professional ethics, be honest and trustworthy, and dedicated to the profession.
2. Be a native Hebrew speaker.
3. Have at least two years of full-time experience teaching Hebrew, with preference given to candidates who have experience teaching Hebrew as a foreign language (i.e., to non-native speakers).
4. Hold a Master's degree or higher in Hebrew Linguistics, Literature, Education, or a related field, with a Ph.D. degree preferred.
5. Possess a solid theoretical foundation and systematic professional knowledge in the discipline, demonstrating both the research potential to publish in core academic journals and the professional competence to deeply engage in teaching reform and make substantial contributions.
6. Teaching experience at a Chinese university or research institution is preferred.
